Television

          Television is a device that's used all over the world, and is available in almost every home. However, it is a sword of two edges.

          Television links people to all over the world. While sitting in the room, you would be able to cruise  through the channels offering a wide variety of shows surfing every topic that affects you from politics to sports, cooling, gardening, fashion, education at programs and many other lists.

          These shows are brought to the viewers in a variety of languages. If you are clever enough, you would use the television as an educational tool that opens your eyes on other culture. So you would be able to have a better  understanding of others. You may say that these are the advantages of television with the addition of bringing the family  together if they all agree on watching the same show.

          On the other hand, television has its disadvantages and maybe a destructive side. Television has taken away our youth as from many activities that are necessary to building up a happy, healthy, productive member society such as getting in touch with their surroundings sharing in their community, exercising  their body with sports rather than living a sedentary lifestyle infront of the television.

          Television also cuts the time of reading which is very important  way to enrich  know ledge with endless topics. Entertainment and funny shows are more appealing to young viewers that educational shows and that's a waste of time and mind.
