Where Memories Thrive
Life is a continuous cycle where one action leads and motivates another. Life is a grayish portrait where it is a mixture of black and white, sweetness and bitterness, softness and toughness. Our universe is so vast that it looks just like a sphere from the outside but getting closer to its inner layer with a scrutiny you can see the genuine societies we are living in. When relationships unite, societies are formed thus relationships are the bedrocks of the construction of our wide globe. Earth is our native home; we should preserve it no matter what by supporting all sorts of relationships. Some relationships among people would be broken some day but the only relations that would last forever are the genuine, true, and intimate friendships.
Friendship is all what one can get in his adolescence. It is which gives you hope in life, and it encourages you and motivates you to take risks without any fear. Unfortunately, in these days, friendship has lost its essence. Some persons say that they are your friends but it is conveyed at the end that they only befriend you for their own advantages and interests. Friends are the ones who love you for your personality, neither for your outlook nor for your wit. True friends are those who stand beside you when you are in a trouble and would never let you down. Real friends are those who cry with you when you are desperate and console you when you are in agony. Fake friends are those who consider you as a friend when they need you and other times they don’t even know you.
After twelve years of friendship and two years of intimate friendship that compensate all previous years, I have been left behind whereas my best friends moved on alone. Nevertheless, they are still my best friends and I wouldn’t change this idea no matter what. If you think carefully we can notice that almost all our life time we spend here in this school, the National Evangelical School in Nabatieh, our second home where the best and the worst moments have ever occurred. All the times we spent here in this sacred school turned out to be just memories that we can merely recall. At the beginning of the school of this year, I faced a problem with this issue in which I felt lonely as if they weren’t present in the past. But now the block which stood between us is broken and I am quite sure that at the end of this year this block will be demolished. No one can take my best friends’ places even though we are apart nowadays but they will always be my best friends.
Friendship is the pulse of life where it emphasizes the continuity and progress of life. The most disgusting feeling is to feel that you are weird in the midst of a cluster of people. But the thing I know is that here is the center of memories. Here is the place where memories thrive!!
